Irsina is a tiny historic town on a hill with glorious views of rolling wheat fields in the region of Basilicata. Private transfers from all the airports can be organised. The bus connections between Irsina and Matera are good. There is also a train station that connects Irsina to Gravina and Bari. Irsina has four family owned restaurants that offer high quality seasonal traditional food.
